Testimonials

Perfectly Unique Photography was set up to offer special needs families who wouldn’t normally consider having a family photoshoot, for whatever reason, the option to capture their own family memories in a professional, relaxed and understanding atmosphere.

It is so lovely to hear feedback from the families I have had the pleasure of working with so far:

Alex contacted us before the photo shoot to find out about my child, likes and dislikes, what would make it easier for us on the day. Alex is very calm but also full of fun and has a good understanding of special needs. She made us all feel very relaxed and at ease. Thank you so much for the beautiful photos. You made something we thought was impossible happen! Kat W

Alex understood not only my daughters needs but what we wanted as a family. Thank you for our beautiful family pictures and for being so understanding. Vanessa W

Alex provided a shoot in the woods at short notice & boy did she deliver. My son has Down Syndrome & can be very shy with people he doesn’t know. He started quite shy & refusing to smile but within minutes Alex put him at ease & played hide & seek with him to help him relax. She is incredibly patient & will adapt to find the best way for the child. The photos she took for our Autumn pics were fantastic. She really captured his cheekiness. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again & would happily recommend her. Stef F

Wonderful, warm and patient photographer who is very tuned into the needs of kids. Highly recommended. Linsey T

I am so in love with our photos. Alex captured beautifully very natural shots of myself and my son. They have captured our family perfectly. Alex put my son at ease and dealt well when he had a "meltdown". I can't thank Alex enough.
